Job summary

Workfast is seeking experienced Trade Assistants in Tullamarine, Vic, to support trades on site. Immediate start, 8–12 hour shifts, five-day roster, with paid parking. ASIC card is a must; forklift Licence and White Card highly regarded but not essential. Ongoing project work across multiple sites with a national labour-hire approach.

Applicants should have strong hands-on site experience, safety awareness and a good work ethic. Driver's licence preferred to access different sites as required.

Qualifications

• Experience as Trade Assistant alongside mechanical fitters, engineers and trades.
• Strong hands-on site experience supporting trades.
• Experience with general labouring, site preparation and material handling.
• Good safety awareness and strong work ethic.
• Ability to work 8-12 hours per day.
• Availability Monday to Friday at a minimum.

Responsibilities

• Support trades on site as directed by supervisors.
• Assist with general labouring, site preparation and material handling.
• Ensure worker safety and housekeeping on site.
• Move materials and assist with loading/unloading as required.

Workfast is currently seeking experienced Trade Assistants with ASIC cards to join our clients team in Tullamarine, Vic.

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Trade Assistants to secure projects supporting trades across a range of site-based duties. Candidates will need strong hands-on experience, a good understanding of site safety and the ability to work long shifts if required.

We are looking for candidates with:

• Previous experience as a Trade Assistant working along sideMechanical Fitters engineers, electricians and trade professionals.
• Strong hands-on site experience supporting trades
• Experience with general labouring, site preparation and material handling
• Good safety awareness and a strong work ethic
• Ability to work 8-12-hours a day
• Availability for work Monday to Friday at a minimum.

• An Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC)- IS A MUST
• EWP Highly regarded
• White card
• Forklift Licence- Highly regarded but not essential
• Driver's licence
• Work Safely at Heights (WAH)- Highly regarded but not essential
