Job summary

Workfast is seeking an Industrial Electrician for a 5-week project in Tullamarine. The role involves hands-on electrical work on a busy site, with full 8-hour days, Monday to Friday, ASAP start. You will be part of a team delivering scope on time while adhering to safety standards.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of electrical experience, a valid Victorian Electrical Licence and a White Card, and must be physically fit for labouring tasks if required. Immediate start available.

• Physically fit for labouring tasks if required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and complete electrical work on site.
• Pull cables, pit and conduit work.
• Make day-to-day decisions to deliver scope of work.
• Liaise with management to ensure documentation and reporting.
• Identify OH&S risks via risk assessments and site inspections.
• Assist the Project Manager with scheduling project implementations.

Workfast is seeking experienced Industrial Electricians to join us at a project in Tullamarine.

• $77.89 per hour + $4.35 per hour site allowance + Super + $58.60 Daily Travel Allowance
• Monday-Friday Full 8 Hour Days.
• 5 week project - ASAP Start

What your day will look like

• Plan, coordinate and complete electrical work
• Pulling Cables, Pit and conduit work
• Make day to day decisions to ensure the projects are delivered in accordance with the scope of the work.
• Liaise with the management team to ensure documentation/reporting is processed and any issues that may affect the project, customer, delivery schedule or profitability are identified.
• Identify OH&S issues that may pose risk by conducting risk assessments, system audits and site inspections
• Assist the Project Manager with the scheduling of project implementations

What you'll need

• At least 2 years experience as a fully qualified electrician
• Valid Victorian Electrical Licence
• White Card
• Physically fit to carry out labouring intensive tasks if required.
