Gearon Environmental Pty Ltd — Narre Warren VIC seeks a hands-on Site Labourer/Operator to join a growing environmental remediation business. You will work on contaminated sites and property development projects across Victoria, handling demolition, soil and groundwater remediation, and related civil works.

The role requires a trade background with emphasis on safety, practical experience in site activities, and the ability to operate excavators, loaders and skidsteers.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge & commitment to safety.
• Minimum 3-5 years experience as a general site labourer and/or operator.
• Hold tickets and experience in operating excavators, loaders, skidsteer/positrack loaders.

Responsibilities

• Operate various plant and equipment such as excavators, loaders, skidsteer/positrack loaders.
• Contribute to constructing groundwater and soil treatment systems using electrical, plumbing and general construction experience.
• Develop Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS) to ensure safe delivery of projects.
• Maintain daily site diaries, machine maintenance logs and toolbox talk entries.
• Participate in site, management & client meetings.
• Coordinate service & maintenance of plant & equipment.

Gearon Environmental Pty Ltd – Narre Warren VIC

We are seeking a skilled and talented Site Labourer/Operator to be a key part of a growing environmental remediation business within an established civil construction company, focusing on contaminated sites & property development projects throughout Victoria.

You will be a hands‑on labourer and operator working on various petrochemical & related industry projects across a broad range of sites working with various operators, labourers, consultants & pre-qualified sub-contractors.

Project types include demolition of fuel storage facilities, soil remediation, groundwater remediation infrastructure, soil treatment plant & civil construction.

About You:

The ideal applicant will have a trade background, and while not essential, some experience in the installation &/or removal of product storage & handling facilities, demolition of commercial buildings/canopies & soil treatment & remediation techniques would be preferred.

You will have strong commitment to & working knowledge of OHSE systems/processes & promote a strong culture.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Operating various plant and equipment such as excavators, loaders, skidsteer/positrack loaders
• Construction of groundwater and soil treatment systems, ideally utilising your electrical, plumbing and general construction experience
• Involvement in developing Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS) to ensure safe delivery of projects
• Site administrative tasks such as daily site diaries, machine maintenance logs and toolbox talk entries
• Participate in various site, management & client meetings
• Co-ordinate service & maintenance of plant & equipment
