The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of painting experience, solid knowledge of surface preparation and finishing, and can work independently or as part of a team. Salary is 80,000–82,000 AUD per year plus superannuation and varied projects.

Qualifikationen

• Certificate III in Painting and Decorating (CPC30620) or equivalent.
• 1 year of painting experience as a Painter.
• Knowledge of painting techniques, surface preparation and finishing.
• Commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship.

Aufgaben

• Erect scaffolding, ladders, and protect surroundings with drop sheets.
• Prepare surfaces by removing old paint, repairing woodwork and filling holes.
• Sand, prime, and apply multiple coats with brushes, rollers or spray equipment.
• Hang wallpaper where required and match patterns.
• Inspect work and rectify defects, maintaining clean tools and area.
• Coordinate with supervisors and clients to meet project specs.
