Job summary

Romik Developments Pty Ltd – Melbourne VIC is seeking a Skilled Labourer to join our growing team. You will work on a variety of building and maintenance projects, including bathroom upgrades, disability access modifications, retaining walls, ramps and pergolas, and storm damage repairs.

You’ll work alongside experienced tradespeople across carpentry, plastering, tiling, concreting and minor plumbing, with a flexible schedule of 3–5 days per week to suit the right candidate.

Qualifications

• White Card is required.
• MR license is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Trade background or experience in a trade is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform building and maintenance tasks across a range of projects.
• Assist tradespeople and gain exposure to carpentry, plastering, tiling, concreting, and minor plumbing.
• Contribute to bathroom upgrades, disability access modifications, and general renovations.
• Work with the team on site in Melbourne’s Eastern suburbs and surrounding areas.
• Maintain safety standards and communicate effectively with clients and tenants.

About the Role:
We are seeking a Skilled Labourer to join our growing team. This role offers variety and hands-on experience across a broad range of building and maintenance projects, including:

Bathroom upgrades and modifications

Disability access modifications

Retaining walls, extensions, ramps and pergolas

Fire, flood, and storm damage repairs

General renovations and maintenance work

You’ll work alongside experienced tradespeople and gain exposure to multiple trades, including carpentry, plastering, tiling, concreting, and minor plumbing.

We are flexible with days, and are happy to take someone 3–5 days per week to suit the right candidate.

About You:
We’re looking for someone who is:

Reliable, hardworking, and safety-conscious

A team player with a positive attitude and sense of humour

Comfortable communicating with clients, including tenants

Willing to learn and take direction on diverse building tasks

Requirements:

White Card (mandatory)

Based in Melbourne’s Eastern suburbs – anywhere from Doncaster to Dandenong, including Blackburn, Ringwood, Croydon, Yarra Glen, Glen Waverley, Narre Warren, Dandenong, and surrounding areas

A trade background or experience within a trade

Comfortable towing a large tipper trailer

Medium Rigid (MR) license is an advantage but not mandatory
