Job summary

GN Windows & Doors Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Glazier for a full-time role based in Carlton, Sydney. The position involves measuring, preparing and installing glass for aluminium window and door systems across workshop and site locations.

You will read architectural drawings and ensure finishes meet safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate will hold a Cert III in glazing or have substantial related work experience, with a White Card and a current driver licence.

Qualifications

Cert III in glazing or 3+ years related experience.
Ability to read drawings and take precise measurements.
White Card and valid driver licence.
Able to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

Reading plans, specifications and glazing schedules to determine glass type, size and placement.
Measuring openings and verifying dimensions against drawings and site requirements.
Marking, cutting and preparing glass for installation using glazing tools.
Identifying defects and ensuring glass and glazing materials meet project specs.
Fitting and installing glass in aluminium windows, doors and other architectural glazed panels.
Applying glazing seals, gaskets and related materials for weatherproof finishes.
Installing and replacing glass at residential and commercial sites around Sydney.
Inspecting completed glazing work for alignment, finish and compliance.
Collaborating with fabrication and installation teams to complete projects safely on schedule.
