Job summary

Portland Aluminium & Glass in Warrnambool, VIC, is seeking experienced glaziers for full-time permanent roles. You will read blueprints, install glass, trim edges and ensure quality while maintaining safety on site.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints or specifications to determine size, shape, colour, type or thickness of glass, framing location and installation procedures.
• Install glass and smooth rough edges with bed sanders or smoothing wheels and trim as required.
• Ensure excess glass is disposed of safely and products are inspected for defects or weakness.
• Coat, cut, etch, trim and treat glass to achieve special effects.
