Job summary

GLB Excavation Services Pty Ltd in Hervey Bay, QLD is seeking a casual Bobcat Operator to operate and maintain our bobcat fleet on construction sites. You will set up mesh rubbish cage enclosures, back blade around slabs, install sediment barriers and gravel driveways, and perform builders site cleans.

You must have a minimum of 2 years of bobcat experience, be proficient with various bobcat models and attachments, and follow site safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Bobcat Operator in the construction industry.
• Proficient in the operation of various bobcat models and attachments.
• Strong understanding of construction site safety protocols and the ability to work safely in a dynamic environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to delivering high-quality work.
• Current manual MR licence and white card
• Own transport

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate bobcat machinery to complete a variety of tasks, including setting up mesh rubbish cage enclosures, back blading around concrete slabs, installing sediment barrier, installing gravel driveways, and completing builders site cleans
• Perform manual labour including wheelbarrowing soil for back blades that have tight access
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on assigned equipment to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards
• Adhere to all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
• Provide support and assistance to other team members as required
