Gippsland Civil pty ltd in Traralgon is seeking a reliable Skid Steer / Posi-Track Operator & Construction All-Rounder. You will perform site cleans, assist civil earthworks, and travel daily from the depot to local sites, with overtime opportunities.

This role requires a valid Skid Steer ticket, White Card, MR licence, and Australian residency or citizenship. Physical fitness and a safety-first attitude are essential, with potential to expand into other civil and pool excavation work.

Qualifications

• Valid Skid Steer (LS) Ticket / Statement of Attainment (mandatory).
• White Card (General Construction Induction).
• MR Driver's Licence (or higher) with a clean driving record.
• Australian Permanent Residency or Citizenship (mandatory).
• Physically fit and willing to perform heavy manual labour.
• Excavator licences/tickets are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Skid Steer / Posi-Track for final trims, site cleans, and material shifting.
• Perform manual site cleanup, rubbish removal, and ground preparation tasks.
• Assist the team with civil earthworks, site preparation, and pool digs.
• Drive and operate MR vehicles to transport materials, debris, or machinery.
• Adhere to site safety protocols and maintain a clean workspace.
• Travel daily from the Traralgon depot to various local job sites.

Job description

We are seeking a reliable, motivated Skid Steer / Posi-Track Operator & Construction All-Rounder to join our team. Operating out of our Traralgon Depot, your primary responsibility will be executing builders' site cleans across Traralgon and surrounding regional areas, ensuring construction sites are left safe, tidy, and ready for subsequent trades. This is a dynamic role—you must be completely willing to step out of the cab and complete manual labour and cleanup tasks when required. For a versatile candidate, this position offers excellent day-to-day variety. As our operations grow, you will have the opportunity to expand your hours into other sectors of our business, including civil construction and pool excavations. Regular overtime is available for candidates looking to maximise their hours.
