Job summary

XPT Software Australia is seeking a senior software engineer to work across React, Next.js, NX, .NET Core APIs, and Azure. You will contribute to containerized deployments with Kubernetes, Sitecore Headless XM Cloud/JSS, and cloud deployment practices.

The role requires 8+ years in enterprise environments and hands-on front-end development with React/Next/TypeScript. You will collaborate with analysts, QA, designers, and senior stakeholders to deliver scalable web solutions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience in large or enterprise organisations.
• Strong hands-on development experience with React.js.
• Experience with Next.js.
• Experience with TypeScript and JavaScript.
• Experience with NX or similar monorepo frameworks.
• Experience integrating front-end applications with .NET Core APIs.
• Understanding of Azure cloud services and deployment practices.
• Experience with Kubernetes and container deployments.
• Sitecore Headless (XM Cloud/JSS) experience.
• Exposure to digital experience, eCommerce, or customer-facing platforms.
• Knowledge of Agile delivery methodologies and DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain modern web applications using React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
• Participate in solution design, estimation, and development activities.
• Build reusable and scalable front-end components and shared libraries using NX.
• Integrate with backend APIs and enterprise services developed in .NET Core.
• Contribute to cloud deployments and operational support within Azure environments.
• Support containerized deployments using Kubernetes and AKS.
• Troubleshoot production issues and drive root cause analysis.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical best practices.
• Collaborate effectively with business analysts, QA engineers, designers, and senior technical stakeholders.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across delivery and engineering processes.
• Experience within insurance, healthcare, or financial services sectors.
