Job summary

Vena Energy seeks a motivated Technician or Trades Assistant for a site-based role in Tailem Bend, SA. You will support safe, compliant site operations, perform maintenance, and assist with vegetation and grounds management alongside a collaborative team.

Open to candidates with appropriate trade background; year 10 education required and a valid driver’s licence. Roles involve HV/LV operations and general site duties with opportunity for site-specific training.

Qualifications

• Must have Year 10 schooling.
• Mechanical knowledge to maintain/repair equipment on site.
• Competent with power and hand tools.
• Demonstrated ability to work well in a team.
• Strong safety awareness and safe work practices.
• Capable of working independently and efficiently.
• Good situational awareness in dynamic environments.
• Experience engaging with local communities or stakeholders.
• Valid Class C Manual Driver’s Licence.

Responsibilities

• Assist with maintenance management and inspection documentation for equipment and machinery.
• Support vegetation management and grounds duties.
• Participate in HV switching activities within training and competency.
• Perform preventive or corrective maintenance per plans and procedures.
• Ensure stock control and prepare required reports.
