Job summary

Dasco Australia Pty Ltd. is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor for a live high-rise residential project in Sydney.

You will take responsibility for day-to-day operations, lead trades with confidence, and drive construction outcomes from day one alongside the Project Manager and Site Management team. We require a proven track record in high-rise environments, strong leadership, and a detail-oriented approach to sequencing, safety, quality and site logistics.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with foremen, resolve site issues, and maintain communication with management.
• Monitor productivity and escalate potential delays before impacting the programme.
• Maintain housekeeping, site presentation and overall worksite organisation.
• Lead by example and drive accountability across the site team.

We run a strong forward pipeline of major high-rise residential projects across Sydney, and we're after an experienced Supervisor to help us deliver them. This isn't an entry point role, we're looking for someone who already knows how a high-rise site runs and can be trusted to lead on the floor plate from day one.

Job Description

Day to day, you will:

• Supervise and coordinate site crews, subcontractors and trades across your area of a high-rise project.
• Drive daily construction activities, sequencing, access and materials movement to keep the project running efficiently.
• Take ownership of daily and weekly programme targets, ensuring works are completed safely and on schedule.
• Lead toolbox talks, enforce site safety requirements and proactively address unsafe work practices.
• Monitor workmanship and quality standards, ensuring works meet project specifications and identifying issues before they become defects.
• Coordinate crane and hoist operations, deliveries, site logistics and general site requirements.
• Liaise directly with subcontractor foremen, resolve site issues and keep communication flowing between trades and management.
• Monitor site productivity, identify potential delays and **escalate** issues before they impact the programme.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping, site presentation and overall worksite organisation.
• Lead by example, take ownership of your area and drive accountability across the site team.

This role requires someone who can take control of day-to-day site operations, lead trades with confidence and drive construction outcomes. Working closely with the Project Manager and Site Management team, you will play a key role in delivering the project and have the opportunity to take the next step in your construction career

Desired Skills and Experience

We need an experienced Site Supervisor who can take ownership of day-to-day site operations on a live high-rise residential project.

• High-rise residential experience strongly preferred, with an understanding of the coordination, sequencing and logistics involved in multi-storey construction.
• Broad construction experience across structure, façade and internal finishes. We value well-rounded construction knowledge over specialisation in one particular stage.
• Proven ability to supervise subcontractors, coordinate multiple trades and drive daily construction activities.
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing, drawings, quality and site safety.
• Ability to manage site priorities, resolve issues and keep works progressing to programme and pushing the critical path.
• Confident leadership style, strong communication skills and a team-first attitude.
• Current White Card.

Highly regarded:

• Previous Site Supervisor experience on high-rise residential projects.
• Experience working across different builders and construction environments.
• First Aid and relevant construction tickets.
