Job summary

RFI Technology Solutions in Melbourne is seeking a Site Supervisor to coordinate multiple site works on a major wireless infrastructure project. You will lead field operations, supervise crews and ensure work is delivered safely, on time and to the required quality standards.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Site Supervisor to join our busy team in Melbourne, working on a major construction project.

About the role

The primary function of the Site Supervisor is to coordinate multiple site works (or project site as advised) and manage all field activities related to wireless network and associated infrastructure installation, maintenance and troubleshooting, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.

The below details many aspects of the role and what we require:

• Lead and supervise employees and subcontractors onsite, ensuring quality and safety standards are adhered to at all times.
• Ensure site works produced align with project plans, design specifications and customer requirements.
• Manage all site activities, including coordinating and supervising schedules to meet daily productivity targets and deliver works over multiple sites.
• Ensure all non‑conformance issues are identified, investigated and resolved in a timely manner.
• Resolve operational and site‑based issues as they arise to minimise disruption to project timelines.
• Monitor and analyse field performance metrics to drive continuous improvement in safety, quality and productivity.
• Complete regular field inspections and audits to ensure compliance with industry regulations, WHS obligations and company policies and procedures.
• Provide technical guidance and support to field staff, troubleshooting complex issues as required.
• Prepare and present reports on field activities, performance and project status to the Project Manager and senior management.

About you

You will ideally have:

• Extensive experience in wireless telecommunications, network infrastructure and field operations.
• 5+ years’ experience in a site supervision or field management role.
• Practical experience as a telecom/macro rigger and strong understanding of wireless or civil telecom construction.
• Experience with civil engineering / telecom civil / macro civil / wireless civil works.
• A strong safety focus with a clear commitment to working safely and enforcing WHS requirements onsite.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, subcontractors and internal stakeholders.
• High level of organisation and the ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Relevant tickets and licences (e.g. Working at Heights), and a current driver’s licence with the ability to travel between sites as required.
