Job summary

Built is seeking a Site Supervisor to own and lead on-site activity across fitout and refurbishment projects in Canberra. You will coordinate daily site work, lead subcontractors and trades, and ensure work is delivered safely, on program and to a high standard.

Working with the project team, you’ll manage site relationships, keep milestones on track and maintain quality through drawings, specs and delivery practices.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification with construction management (desirable).
• Experience on fitout, refurbishment or commercial construction projects.
• Knowledge of construction drawings, specifications and site delivery practices.
• Solid understanding of HSE requirements and quality standards.
• Proven ability to lead trades and subcontractors on site.
• Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.

The Opportunity

As a Site Supervisor, you’ll play a key role in delivering projects on site — coordinating daily activities, leading subcontractors, and ensuring work is delivered safely, on program, and to a high standard.

Working closely with the wider project team, you’ll take ownership of your work area, build strong relationships across the site, and keep momentum against key milestones.

In this role, you will:

• Coordinate and supervise daily site activities within your allocated area
• Ensure works are delivered in line with drawings, specifications and quality standards
• Drive site safety and compliance, supporting a strong safety culture
• Lead subcontractors and trades to maintain programme and sequencing

What We Are Looking For

We’re looking for someone who brings strong leadership presence on site and knows how to keep teams aligned and productive.

You will bring:

• A trade background, with further qualifications in Construction Management or similar (desirable)
• Experience working on fitout, refurbishment or commercial construction projects
• Kitnowledge of construction drawings, specifications and site delivery practices
• Solid understanding of HSE requirements and quality standards
• Proven ability to lead trades and subcontractors on site
• Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills
