Job summary

Built is seeking a Site Supervisor in Canberra to own and coordinate on-site activities across fitout and refurbishment projects. You will lead on-site teams, manage subcontractors, ensure work aligns with drawings, specifications and quality standards, and drive safety, program, and progress against milestones.

We value a trade background with Construction Management qualifications (desirable), strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills, and the ability to deliver high-quality

Qualifications

• Strong leadership presence on site with ability to align teams.
• Experience on fitout, refurbishment or commercial construction projects.
• Knowledge of construction drawings, specifications and site delivery practices.
• Solid understanding of HSE requirements and quality standards.
• Ability to lead trades and subcontractors on site.
• Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.

The Opportunity

As a Site Supervisor, you’ll play a key role in delivering projects on site — coordinating daily activities, leading subcontractors, and ensuring work is delivered safely, on program, and to a high standard.

Working closely with the wider project team, you’ll take ownership of your work area, build strong relationships across the site, and keep momentum against key milestones.

In this role, you will:

• Coordinate and supervise daily site activities within your allocated area

• Drive site safety and compliance, supporting a strong safety culture

What We Are Looking For

We’re looking for someone who brings strong leadership presence on site and knows how to keep teams aligned and productive.

You will bring:

• A trade background, with further qualifications in Construction Management or similar (desirable)
• Experience working on fitout, refurbishment or commercial construction projects
• Kitno knowledge of construction drawings, specifications and site delivery practices
• Solid understanding of HSE requirements and quality standards
• Proven ability to lead trades and subcontractors on site
• Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills
