Job summary

Hilton Foods Australia seeks a Safety & Wellbeing Manager for the Bunbury site. You will lead end-to-end safety and wellbeing initiatives, shaping culture, driving injury prevention, return-to-work programs and continuous improvement.

You will partner with site leadership to embed best practice and ensure regulatory compliance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, overseeing up to 400 staff. You will manage a team, apply safety standards, interpret legislation, and drive innovative

Qualifications

• Sound knowledge of Safety Legislation and Regulatory requirements
• Experience in Leadership Safety/S&W role
• Coaching management of Safety Programs
• Experience in safety reporting / management systems
• Manufacturing or FMCG environment desirable

Responsibilities

• Leading Safety and Wellbeing initiatives and assisting in the implementation of strategies to minimise workplace risk
• Supervising, guiding and supporting team members in the application of the Safety Management System for Hilton Foods Australia
• Overseeing the Return to Work and Injury Management function and activities for the site
• Understanding drivers of injuries and related workers compensation costs, with the aim of continuous improvement
• Responsible for the site application of the Hilton Food Group Safety Standard
• Interpreting Local/National safety legislation and regulatory requirements; providing managers input and advice on how best to meet relevant requirements
• Driving the development of innovative solutions to enhance wellbeing
• Safety data capture and interpretation, reporting KPI outputs into Hilton Foods management matrix.
