Australian Laboratory Services Pty Ltd (ALS) in Mount Isa is seeking a Site Governance Supervisor to lead safety culture, oversee hazard reporting and compliance, and work with Operations, HSE and Maintenance to keep people safe.

This full-time, hands-on role offers training, daily site inspections, risk assessment projects, and management of the HSE portal and playbooks to drive continuous improvement in a healthy, compliant operation.

Qualifications

Must prioritise safety and people at all times.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and compliance mindset.
Ability to build rapport across all organizational levels.
Calm, organized, and pragmatic approach to problems.
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
Good general computer literacy and numeracy.

Responsibilities

Champion hazard reporting and drive a positive safety culture across the site.
Partner with Operations, HSE and Maintenance to implement solutions and close hazard reports.
Conduct daily inspections and site walkthroughs.
Support employees with medical appointments and doctor visits.
Lead risk assessment projects with sectional leaders.
Manage monthly HSE playbooks with Operations and HSE teams.
Maintain the compliance tracker and HSE portal.
