Job summary

Johnstaff in Queensland is seeking an experienced Site Manager to join a major healthcare delivery team on-site in Queensland. You will act as the client's eyes and ears, monitoring progress, safety, quality, and contractual compliance to support timely delivery of the project.

The role is ideal for a seasoned professional with Tier 1/2 project experience, strong stakeholder engagement and a White Card, with on-site full-time work and hybrid arrangements offered by the firm.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of construction experience.
• Background as Site Manager or similar client-side role.
• Experience delivering Tier 1 or Tier 2 projects.
• Health, education or social infrastructure experience highly regarded.
• Strong contractor management and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Excellent reporting and communication abilities.
• Current White Card.
• Available to work full-time on site.

Responsibilities

• Represent the client's interests throughout construction delivery.
• Monitor progress, programme performance and site activities.
• Inspect works and verify compliance with drawings and specifications.
• Review contractor performance and progress claims.
• Facilitate communication between client, contractor and consultant team.
• Identify project risks and support issue resolution.

The Role

Acting as the client's eyes and ears on site, you'll monitor construction progress, quality, safety and contractual compliance while working closely with the contractor, consultant team, and project director to support successful project delivery.

This role is ideal for an experienced site manager, superintendent's representative, or site representative looking to play a key role on a major healthcare project and further develop their client-side experience.

Responsibilities
