Job summary

Macquarie Group’s technology team is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to shape our reliability practices for a cloud-based platform supporting Commodities and Global Markets. You will improve monitoring, automation, and incident response while collaborating with engineering teams.

Experience with Kubernetes (preferably EKS), AWS, Linux and Python is highly valued. We offer hybrid and flexible working options focused on delivering timely, accurate data for Treasury reporting and business

Qualifications

Hands-on experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, platform or software engineering.
Strong troubleshooting across applications, infrastructure and data; ability to handle unanticipated issues.

Responsibilities

Build and shape site reliability practices as the team’s first dedicated SRE.
Improve reliability, monitoring and automation across a cloud-based platform.
Collaborate with application support, platform operations and software engineering to ensure timely delivery.
