Job summary

Troy Laboratories is seeking a Plant Engineer on site to lead maintenance, reliability and capital projects at its Sydney GMP manufacturing site. You will report to the Engineering Manager and step into the Engineering Manager role in the medium term, starting as 2IC.

The role demands hands-on maintenance leadership across utilities and equipment within a highly regulated environment. Key focus areas include developing preventative maintenance strategies, ensuring GMP compliance, coordinating

Qualifications

• Experience as Plant Engineer or Engineering Supervisor in GMP manufacturing.
• Maintenance, projects and reliability experience.
• Understanding of WHS and risk management for site contractors.

Responsibilities

• Support safe, reliable and compliant operation of site facilities and equipment.
• Develop and implement preventative and predictive maintenance strategies (e.g., MEX).
• Drive reliability, uptime and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate contractors and ensure safe work practices and certifications.
• Support GMP compliance, equipment qualification and validation activities.
• Troubleshoot machinery and facility issues to assist production.
• Deliver capital projects on time and on budget with risk assessments and documentation.
• Assist with longer-term capital planning and engineering improvement initiatives.
