Job summary

Shadforth is seeking a Site/Project Engineer in Bundaberg to coordinate day-to-day site activities on two civil projects valued up to $2–$10 million. You will work with project managers and site teams to deliver safely, on time and within budget.

The role offers local work in the Bundaberg region, with opportunities for career development and exposure to diverse civil infrastructure projects in Queensland.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) or equivalent is preferred.
• Experience delivering civil infrastructure or subdivision projects.
• Strong understanding of civil construction methodologies.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with clients, subcontractors and site teams.
• Proactive, organized and eager to develop your career.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily construction activities and assist with project delivery.
• Prepare and manage short-term programs, ITPs, QA documentation and project reporting.
• Monitor project costs, quantities and progress against budget and program.
• Procure materials and coordinate subcontractors and suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety requirements and quality standards.
• Assist with client liaison and attend project meetings.
• Identify and resolve technical and construction-related issues on site.

Job description

Join our team and play a key role in delivering two exciting civil projects in Bargara and Burnett Heads, valued between $2–10 million. Working alongside experienced Project Managers and site teams, you'll help drive the successful delivery of these projects while gaining valuable exposure to all aspects of civil construction.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of Shadforth's continued growth in the Bundaberg region, contributing to our first projects in the area while building a long-term career with one of Queensland's leading civil contractors.

About the Role As a Site/Project Engineer, you'll be responsible for coordinating day-to-day project activities, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard. You'll work closely with Supervisors, subcontractors and clients to keep projects on schedule and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily construction activities and assist with project delivery.
