We’re on the lookout for an experienced Site and Project Engineer to oversee a major $70M residential subdivision project, managing earthworks, roads, drainage and services with a focus on safety, quality and client relationships.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering residential subdivision and large-scale civil infrastructure projects.
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee project planning, programming and daily delivery activities to ensure milestones are met.
• Coordinate large-scale subdivision works including earthworks, roads, drainage and utilities.
• Ensure compliance with legislation, standards, specifications and quality requirements.
• Monitor budgets, forecast costs and financial performance.
• Manage subcontractors, procurement and project resources to achieve delivery outcomes.
• Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships.
• Drive safety, environmental and quality outcomes across the project.
• Mentor site teams and foster a positive project culture.

Job description

We’re on the lookout for an experienced Site and Project Engineers to play an integral role in delivering a major $70M residential subdivision project, overseeing large-scale civil construction works across earthworks, roadworks, drainage, and associated infrastructure.

You will be joining a high-performing team delivering one of the region’s landmark subdivision developments, with long-term project stability and future opportunities across a strong pipeline of subdivision and infrastructure works.
Shadforth offers significant growth potential, with opportunities to progress into Senior Project Engineering and leadership roles as you establish yourself within the business.

About You

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will demonstrate strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills, with proven experience delivering residential subdivision and large-scale civil infrastructure projects. You will bring a solid background in bulk earthworks, services, pavements, and road construction, along with the ability to manage project performance, subcontractors, and client relationships within a fast-paced construction environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee project planning, programming and daily delivery activities to ensure project milestones are achieved
