Job summary

Riverina Oils & Bio Energy (ROBE) is seeking a Site Operator to join our Site Operations team at our Wagga Wagga facility. The role supports inbound/outbound movement, storage and dispatch of materials, with emphasis on safety, efficiency and teamwork.

The Site Operator will work with logistics, production, maintenance, quality and safety teams, operating site equipment, conducting material handling tasks and contributing to a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse, storage, agriculture or industrial operations.
• Forklift or loader operation experience (highly regarded).
• Strong attention to safety and operational procedures.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
• Willingness to learn and develop new operational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with seed receival, storage and dispatch operations
• Load and unload trucks using forklifts, loaders and other site equipment
• Operate weighbridge and oil bay systems (where trained)
• Conduct sampling, grain classification and quality checks
• Monitor site access and support routine operational processes
• Maintain high standards of Work Health & Safety and environmental compliance
• Identify hazards and contribute to a strong safety culture
• Work collaboratively with production, logistics and maintenance teams
• Participate in rostered weekend work as required

This hands-on role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in an operational or warehouse environment and values safety, teamwork and continuous improvement. Competitive pay starting at $30/hr, with progression up to $38/hr as you gain experience.

About the Role

The Site Operator is responsible for supporting the inbound and outbound operations of the site, including seed receival, unloading, storage, and dispatch of oil and meal products. The role works closely with teams across logistics, production, maintenance, quality and safety to ensure smooth operations.

Key duties include operating site equipment, loading and unloading trucks, conducting grain classification activities, and maintaining safe and efficient site operations.
