Job summary

A Melbourne-based commercial fit out and interiors contractor is seeking an experienced and hands-on Site Manager for a short-term contract on an upcoming office fit-out project in South-East Melbourne.

You will oversee day-to-day site activities, ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard, coordinating trades and maintaining program timelines. Starting w/c 14th September for approximately 6 weeks, with occasional Saturday work possibilities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Site Manager in commercial fit out or construction, ideally office fit outs.
• Strong understanding of site safety and coordination.
• Reliable, proactive and able to work autonomously.

Responsibilities

• Supervise site works and coordinate trades to maintain sequencing.
• Ensure WHS compliance at all times and uphold quality standards.
• Maintain program timelines and liaise with project management and stakeholders.
• Lead from the front and be willing to get involved with on-site works.
