Zusammenfassung

Design & Build is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead a large housing estate development of townhouses and single dwellings in Melbourne's North-West region. You will manage civil works through to handover, coordinating trades, materials and schedule on a single site while liaising with estimators and drafters to resolve on-site issues.

The role calls for hands-on site leadership, excellent communication, and the ability to work Monday to Friday on one project.

Qualifikationen

• Experience with newly built townhouses and/or single dwellings within a housing estate.
• Ability to manage various trades on site.
• Excellent communication skills and liaising with internal staff and external suppliers/stakeholders.
• Driver's licence and white card.
• Computer literacy essential.

Design & Build has partnered with one of Victoria's most prominent names in the medium density space, with projects across Melbourne Metro and a focus on delivering housing estate developments. The team is highly experienced, and the Construction and Project Managers visit site regularly to support the site team.
Due to their continued success, there is an opportunity to join the team as a Site Manager. You will join a team pf Site Managers delivering a residential housing estate made up of a mix of townhouses and single dwellings. Once the project is complete, there will be ongoing work within the North-West region.

As the Site Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Managing a large housing estate jobsite of townhouses and single dwellings (between 20 - 25 dwellings per Site Manager)
• Managing the project from civil groundworks through to completion/handover
• Coordinating, programming and scheduling jobs, trades and materials across multiple dwelling types
• Overseeing site staff and liaising with internal office staff (Estimators, Drafters, etc.)
• Solving design and construction issues that arise on site
• Reporting on programme, costing, WHS and more

To be considered for the position of Site Manager, you will require:

• Experience with newly built townhouses and/or single dwellings within a housing estate
• Technical experience and the ability to manage various trades on site
• Excellent communication skills and previous experience of liaising with both internal employees and external suppliers and stakeholders
• A driver's licence and white card
• Computer literacy essential
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Monday to Friday on a single job site
