Stellar Recruitment AU and NZ – Gisborne VIC is seeking a Senior Site Manager for established residential developments. You will own on-site operations, coordinating trades, subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to deliver projects safely, on programme, and to high standards.

The role requires 7+ years in site management within residential construction, with strong leadership and communication skills to drive multi-unit housing projects.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of site management experience in residential construction.
• Proven ability to deliver multi-unit or large-scale housing projects.
• Strong leadership and communication capabilities with stakeholders.
• Ability to build strong relationships with subcontractors, suppliers and councils.
• Proactive, solutions-focused approach to project delivery.
• Carpentry trade background is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day site management and safety oversight.
• Manage subcontractors, suppliers and trades to align with programme.
• Coordinate resources and site logistics to optimise productivity.
• Monitor quality and adherence to specifications and standards.
• Liaise with councils, engineers, surveyors and inspectors.
• Maintain site documentation and reporting using Procore.

The Opportunity

An established construction business is seeking an experienced Senior Site Manager to support the delivery of upcoming residential developments across the Gisborne region.

Working alongside an experienced leadership team, you'll take ownership of site operations, coordinating trades, subcontractors, suppliers and key stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitoring programme and quality
• Liaising with councils, engineers, surveyors and inspectors
• Maintaining site documentation and reporting
• Regular use of Procore

What We're Looking For

• 7+ years' Site Management experience
• Strong residential construction background
• Experience delivering multi-unit or large-scale housing projects
