Job summary

Stellar Recruitment AU and NZ – Gisborne VIC is seeking a Senior Site Manager for established residential developments. You will own on-site operations, coordinating trades, subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to deliver projects safely, on programme, and to high standards.

The role requires 7+ years in site management within residential construction, with strong leadership and communication skills to drive multi-unit housing projects.

Qualifications

7+ years of site management experience in residential construction.
Proven ability to deliver multi-unit or large-scale housing projects.
Strong leadership and communication capabilities with stakeholders.
Ability to build strong relationships with subcontractors, suppliers and councils.
Proactive, solutions-focused approach to project delivery.
Carpentry trade background is desirable.

Responsibilities

Day-to-day site management and safety oversight.
Manage subcontractors, suppliers and trades to align with programme.
Coordinate resources and site logistics to optimise productivity.
Monitor quality and adherence to specifications and standards.
Liaise with councils, engineers, surveyors and inspectors.
Maintain site documentation and reporting using Procore.
