Job summary

NACPP Projects Australia is seeking a highly motivated Site Manager to lead commercial construction projects in Darwin. You will manage a team of construction and safety professionals, drive quality, safety and environmental processes, and ensure milestones are met within deadlines and budget.

The successful candidate will bring a relevant trade and construction background with proven leadership experience in the Australian industry, preferably on education or defence projects.

NACP Projects Australia delivers commercial construction projects with a difference through Indigenous management, leadership, and 50 per cent community ownership that strives to increase the involvement of Indigenous Australians in the building industry. NACP Projects aims to deliver value for money outcomes and build a trusted brand in commercial construction while generating continuous revenue streams and profitability that allows NACP Projects to invest in social initiatives, training and development and trade competency.

Your Opportunity

Due to continued project growth, and to support our NACP Projects team in Darwin, we are expanding our team of experienced construction professionals and are now looking to appoint a suitably qualified Site Manager with experience in:

  • Managing commercial construction projects across various sectors
  • Leading a team of construction and safety professionals
  • Overseeing quality, safety and environmental processes
  • Scheduling and co-ordination of construction works
  • Ensuring delivery of project milestones in accordance with deadlines and budget
  • Conducting detailed SWMS reviews
  • Application of building methodologies, WHS legislation, standards and guidelines, and Building Code requirements
  • Defence, Education and Commercial construction project experience an advantage

To be our next successful Site Manager you'll be a highly motivated and adaptable individual who builds effective and lasting relationships and shares our unwavering commitment to corporate social responsibility within the construction sector. With a relevant trade and construction background and proven leadership experience, you will be able to demonstrate your experience in a similar position within the Australian construction industry preferably across education, and/or defence industry projects.
