Job summary

Glenvill Group seeks an experienced Site Manager to oversee the construction of domestic social housing projects across Victoria's regional areas, including Mildura, Wodonga, Bendigo, Shepparton, Seymour and Geelong. You will manage timelines, budgets and safety on multiple projects with autonomy and strong support from head office.

Job description

Following the successful winning of several major projects this year, we are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee the construction of domestic social housing projects in one of our growing regional areas in Mildura, Wodonga, Bendigo, Shepparton, Seymour & Geelong. In this role, you will be responsible for construction and delivery of several projects managing project timelines and budgets, safety, quality assurance systems whilst working closely with our experienced Construction Manager or Project Director. This will be an autonomous role but will include the full support of head office and our loyal suppliers and trades.

Key responsibilities

Oversee and deliver fast paced residential projects, ensuring completion within scope, time, and budget constraints.

Collaborate closely with the Construction Manager or Project Director and key stakeholders to provide expert construction management.

Efficiently manage project timelines, resources, and budgets.

Prioritise safety, quality, and compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

Foster strong relationships with clients, contractors, suppliers, and team members.

Regularly update the Management Team to ensure a smooth transition from construction to occupancy.

About you

Solid background in domestic building methodologies, with at least 5 years of Site Management / Supervision experience.

Proven track record in delivering residential projects, particularly social housing.

Relevant tertiary qualifications in trade, Construction Management or a related field.

Strong understanding of domestic construction principles.

Strong understanding of current day building codes and compliance.

Exceptional communication, leadership, and negotiation skills, with a focus on maintaining high standards.

Detail-oriented, proactive, and goal-driven, with a commitment to excellence in project delivery.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
