Job summary

SRG Global Mining Services is seeking an experienced Site Manager for WA Goldfields projects, operating FIFO from Perth. You will lead on-site teams, ensure safe and efficient drilling and blasting operations, and maintain client relationships to meet SRG’s high standards of delivery.

The role requires strong leadership, financial oversight of site operations, and ability to drive continuous improvement while coordinating with field personnel and client representatives.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience in a managers role within drilling and blasting operations.
  • Schedule 26 – Statutory Supervisor Training.
  • Proven experience managing the financial operations of a drill and blast site.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor personnel and manage client relationships.
  • Excellent oral communication, negotiation and organizational skills.
  • Ability to lead a team, influence key stakeholders and maintain strong relationships.
  • Valid C Class Manual Driver’s Licence
  • Dangerous Goods Security Card

Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for the safe and economic project delivery.
  • Liaise with client representative on daily activities, informing the client of activities which may impact on mining operations.
  • Manage site rosters, consumables, freight logistics, and documentation.
  • Ensure labour, materials and equipment are allocated and implemented for the effective completion of works.
  • Plan and schedule preventative maintenance while monitoring equipment performance.
  • Participation in monthly reviews of financial performance and provide solutions to increase productivity, reduce cost or add value.
  • Coordinate PSI meetings, toolbox talks, and safety briefings.
  • Ensure the procurement and maintenance of site plant resources, including hired plant and equipment, in accordance with SRG procedures.
  • Address complaints and complete disciplinary matters where required.
  • Arrange monthly and quarterly audits, ensuring compliance with company systems, relevant industry legislation and customer specific requirements; as well as providing input into continuous improvement in quality practices

Due to exciting growth, SRG Global Mining Services is looking foran experienced site managerto join our long-term WA Goldfields projects. You’ll be working with a professional team that values clear communication, safety, and efficiency backed bycompetitive pay,modern equipment, andindustry-leading facilities.

This role would suit an experienced and proactive individual with the ability to build, foster and maintain our current client relationships. This means working closely with site personnel to ensure the project is run in a manner that meets the client’s expectation and SRG’s high standard of project delivery.

The individual will provide advice and leadership to site personnel ensuring they have the required knowledge and tools to work safely and efficiently.

This is a FIFO role from Perth.
