Job summary

Tonkin Schutz Design Build (TSDB) is a progressive, privately owned South Australian design and construct commercial contractor with over 25 years of industry experience. We are seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Site Manager to manage and coordinate trades, ensure high levels of site safety and project quality control across multiple projects.

You will lead subcontractors, plan on-site activities, and drive projects to completion on time and within budget while maintaining stringent

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role.
• Clearances: WWCC, Aged Care, Police clearance required or willing to obtain.
• Current Australian driver’s license is desirable.
• White Card (Construction Induction) required or able to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Site management, coordination, and leadership of subcontractors.
• On-site planning activity and control.
• Experience in new build construction.
• Producing short-term programs and identifying opportunities.
• Delivering projects on time and to agreed quality (defects free).
• Maintain high safety standards with knowledge of relevant legislation.

With continued growth across the Education, Aged Care, Commercial and Industrial building sectors, we are looking for quality candidates to fulfil the role of Site Manager.

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Site Manager, to manage and coordinate trades, ensure high levels of site safety and project quality control are met, whilst delivering projects within agreed time frames.

Key Responsibilities:

• Site Management and control, coordination, and leadership of subcontractors
• Project planning - on site planning activity and control
• Experience in new build construction
• Producing short term programs and identifying program opportunities
• Delivering projects on time and to agreed level of quality - defects free
• A high focus on safety with current knowledge of all relevant legislation

About You:

The following attributes will be required:

• Self-motivated, punctual, and presentable
• Industry required qualifications/training
• Minimum of 5 years experience in similar role
• Team oriented and company minded
• Necessary Clearances or be willing to obtain (WWCC, Aged Care, Police)

Remuneration:

Final Salary will be negotiated based on experience.
