Job summary

Alcoa’s Portland Aluminium team is seeking a Learning & Development Co-ordinator for a 6-month fixed-term contract. You will deliver site-based training, coordinate learning programs and maintain competency systems to support safety and employee development.

Working with leaders and operational teams, you will improve training materials, maintain records in the LMS and promote a strong learning culture focused on safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Cert IV in Training and Assessment (or willingness to obtain).
• Experience delivering training, assessments and competency-based learning programs.
• Experience using Learning Management Systems and maintaining training records.
• Strong communication, facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to build effective relationships and work collaboratively across the business.

Responsibilities

• Deliver training, assessments and competency-based learning programs.
• Coordinate training initiatives and maintain competency data.
• Maintain training records and LMS accuracy.
• Support trainers, leaders and subject matter experts to build workforce capability.
