Job summary

Mettle is seeking a Site Foreman for our Sydney team to lead day-to-day site activities, ensuring safety, quality and on-time delivery.

You will coordinate trades, materials and subcontractors, maintain records and support site managers, with a focus on program alignment and stakeholder relations.

This role requires strong leadership, 5+ years in commercial construction and hands-on experience with Procore and HammerTech; a White Card is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience delivering commercial construction projects in a Site Foreman or similar supervisory role.
• Strong understanding of trade interfaces and construction sequencing.
• Leadership and people management capability.
• Ability to prioritise, solve problems and make decisions in a busy site environment.
• Strong communication skills with subcontractors and clients.
• Experience using construction management software, especially Procore and HammerTech.
• Current White Card.

THE OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for a Site Foreman to join our Sydney team.

You will run the day to day activity on site, making sure works are delivered safely, to program and in line with the drawings, specifications and quality requirements. Working closely with the Site Manager, Project Manager and subcontractors, you will keep trades sequenced, materials on site and the project ready for each stage of the build, while maintaining strong relationships with trades, suppliers and stakeholders onsite.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

You are a confident site leader who thrives in a fast-paced delivery environment and takes pride in delivering projects to the highest standard. You will also bring:

• 5+ years' experience delivering commercial construction projects in a Site Foreman or similar supervisory role
• Good understanding of trade interfaces and construction sequencing
• Strong leadership and people management capability
• Ability to prioritise, solve problems and make decisions in a busy site environment
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with subcontractors and clients
• Experience using construction management software, with Procore and HammerTech experience highly regarded
• Current White Card
