Job summary

UGL Limited is seeking an Environmental Advisor for the HumeLink West project in NSW. The role is site-based with a FIFO 10:4 roster and requires a relevant environmental background to guide compliance and sustainability on civil works.

The successful candidate will hold an Environmental Science qualification, NSW regulatory knowledge, and strong reporting skills. The position offers opportunities within a major energy infrastructure program and a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Environmental Science or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant environmental experience in civil construction.
• Strong understanding of NSW environmental legislation and codes.
• Ability to develop, review and interpret project documents and reports.
• Good time management to prioritise workload.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance on environmental regulations and sustainability practices.
• Assess potential environmental impacts and develop compliance strategies.
• Offer technical advice and training to frontline leaders.
• Support review of Environmental Design Deliverables and work packages.
• Assist sub-contractor scope developments and pre-qualifications.
• Maintain positive relationships with client representatives and project teams.
