Job summary

Multicultural Consulting Services Pty is seeking a site engineer to support rail and heavy civil construction in Salisbury, South Australia. You will transform design requirements into safe field execution, coordinating track and civil activities with delivery teams to meet programme, cost and quality objectives.

The role requires a civil/structural/infrastructure engineering degree and at least two years in heavy civil or track construction, plus rail competencies and EIW/RIW cards.

Qualifications

• Two years of engineering experience in heavy civil, earthworks or track construction.
• Membership of, or eligibility for, Engineers Australia.
• Rail Safety Worker competencies and RIW card required under the project contract.
• Experience in site execution, planning and solving complex technical issues.
• Exposure to operational budgets, tenders and occupational health and safety legislation.
• Experience in active rail corridors or live civil infrastructure.

• Coordinate track and civil activities, including subgrade, drainage, capping, ballast, track laying, turnouts and alignment verification.
• Interpret track geometry and civil drawings or models and resolve constructability issues.
• Monitor progress and manage work programmes for crews and subcontractors.
