Job summary

Multicultural Consulting Services Pty is seeking a Civil engineer to provide practical support on a major transport programme, including precast and road-deck components.

You will work with production, quality and delivery teams to resolve issues, interpret designs, coordinate suppliers and ensure safety and quality standards. The role offers an inclusive environment with development opportunities and exposure to substantial infrastructure across Australia.

Qualifications

• Bachelor level civil engineering degree or related qualification.
• Experience with precast, concrete, structures or major infrastructure.
• Ability to interpret designs and drawings and understand construction processes.
• Strong problem-solving, communication and supplier coordination.
• Commitment to quality, safety and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Resolve design, detailing and manufacturing issues with production teams.
• Develop constructable, cost-effective precast solutions and standardise approaches.
• Coordinate suppliers and subcontractors to meet safety, quality and schedule.
• Inspect facilities and components for compliance.
• Support heavy-lift and construction interfaces and identify process improvements.

Provide practical engineering support for the manufacture of tunnel segments and road-deck components on a major transport programme.

Your Work

• Resolve design, detailing and manufacturing issues with production, quality and delivery teams.
• Develop constructable, cost-effective solutions and standardise proven precast approaches.
• Coordinate suppliers and subcontractors to meet safety, quality, budget and schedule requirements.
• Inspect production facilities and completed components for compliance.
• Support heavy-lift and construction interfaces, prioritise resources and identify process improvements.
