Job summary

BKH Contractors QLD Pty Ltd – Burleigh Heads QLD is seeking an experienced Site Engineer with a strong construction background. You will support the Project Manager and Site Manager on live projects in Brisbane and the Gold Coast, with a focus on QA, ITPs and formwork coordination.

The role offers full-time employment with training provided. Preference for locals with Queensland construction experience and the ability to read drawings and manage site documentation.

Qualifications

Civil/Construction qualification.
2+ years site/construction experience.
Formwork experience preferred.
QLD experience preferred.
MS Office/Excel and Aconex proficiency.
Strong communication skills.
Self-driven with initiative.
Able to read plans and specs.
Unrestricted work rights in Australia.

Responsibilities

Support Project Manager and Site Manager on site.
Assist QA systems, ITPs and inspections.
Coordinate formwork items and pre-pour checks.
Assist with design process and shop drawings approvals.
Review buildability and develop on-site solutions.
Read plans and specs and communicate to site team.
Maintain current project documentation.
Promote safety and SWMS compliance.
Willingness to work Saturdays.
Record daily site progress and QA data.
