Job summary

GHD’s Construction Phase Services in Queensland seeks experienced Site Engineers to work on major transport infrastructure projects. The role involves contract administration, reporting, and coordination with the broader engineering team across metro and regional sites.

You will support Senior Project Engineers, prepare forecasts, assist risk management, and help validate progress claims while maintaining accurate field records and collaboration with clients, contractors, and the project team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering in Civil or Structural Engineering is required or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the construction industry.
• Experience with TMR specifications and general conditions of contract is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills; ability to work in a collaborative team.

Responsibilities

• Support Senior Project Engineers and the Administrator’s Representative with contract administration, management and project reporting.
• Prepare monthly quantity forecasts and estimates with the engineering team.
• Assist with project risk management, updating risk registers and forecast costs.
• Assist with monthly reporting to Transport and Main Roads (TMR) and payment certification.
• Coordinate with Project Planning Engineer on program updates and progress assessments.
• Contribute to managing quality records and ensure accurate field measurements for progress claims.
