Job summary

Fulton Hogan's Tasmanian team is growing, and we are seeking an additional Site Engineer to join our Launceston projects. You'll work on complex infrastructure, enjoy a fast-paced environment, and have autonomy to influence outcomes for project success.

The role requires a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Civil) or equivalent, strong organisation and communication, and experience in procurement, site safety, and construction programs. Applicants already residing in Tasmania are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Civil) or equivalent tertiary qualifications.
• Strong organisational and communication skills with the ability to manage and maintain great relationships with colleagues, subcontractors, clients and stakeholders.
• Exposure to the coordination of site activities and costs forecasts.
• Procurement of plant, equipment, materials and services.

Responsibilities

• Procurement of project materials and support in the management of key Subcontractors.
• Lead initiatives in site safety, site quality, and site environmental compliance.
• Develop and maintain construction programs and look aheads to support internal and external communication.
• Productivity and cost tracking to support the management and communication of milestones.
• Financial management from preparation, review and processing of purchase orders and subcontractor progress claim review and approval.
