Job summary

ISMART Building Group seeks a Site Engineer - East to support field engineering and construction control across the eastern delivery area for a major transport infrastructure project in South East Queensland.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's degree in civil/structural/construction engineering with 2-5 years of site engineering experience on civil or transport infrastructure, and possess a current induction card and driver's licence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil, structural or construction engineering.
• 2-5 years' site engineering experience on civil or transport infrastructure.
• Current construction induction card and valid driver's licence.
• Ability to obtain project-specific rail, site and medical competencies.
• Contractor-side experience with work packs, RFIs, ITPs, subcontractor coordination and progress measurement.

Responsibilities

• Plan East work fronts covering earthworks, drainage, utilities, pavements, structures or public-realm works.
• Coordinate permits, survey, temporary works, services investigations, materials and inspection points.
• Manage RFIs and design clarifications and track their effect on sequence, quantities and subcontract scope.
• Measure progress and productivity for weekly plans, forecasts and payment assessments.
• Maintain site diaries, lot records, red-lines, survey data and completion evidence.

A major transport infrastructure project (valued at more than $1 billion) is underway across South East Queensland, delivering complex rail, station and civil works. Having won numerous major projects in Queensland in the past 12 months, the head contractor is seeking a Site Engineer - East to support field engineering and construction control across the eastern delivery area.
