Job summary

Indigenous Business Growth is seeking a Site Engineer - East in Maroochydore, QLD to support field engineering and construction control on a major transport project. You will plan earthworks and utilities, coordinate permits, RFIs and design clarifications, and help track progress and payments across the eastern delivery area.

Requirements include a civil/structural/construction engineering degree, 2–5 years' site experience, an active construction induction card and a valid driver's licence.

• 2-5 years' site engineering experience on civil or transport infrastructure.
• Current construction induction card and valid driver's licence.
• Ability to obtain rail, site and medical competencies.

Responsibilities

• Plan East work fronts covering earthworks, drainage, utilities, pavements, structures or public-realm works.
• Coordinate permits, survey, temporary works, services investigations, materials and inspection points.
• Manage RFIs and design clarifications and track their effect on sequence, quantities and subcontract scope.
• Measure progress and productivity for weekly plans, forecasts and payment assessments.
• Maintain site diaries, lot records, red-lines, survey data and completion evidence.

A major transport infrastructure project (valued at more than $1 billion) is underway across South East Queensland, delivering complex rail, station and civil works. Having won numerous major projects in Queensland in the past 12 months, the head contractor is seeking a Site Engineer - East to support field engineering and construction control across the eastern delivery area.

Key Responsibilities

What We’re Looking For
