Job summary

ACCIONA is seeking a Site Engineer to turn designs into built work across metro and regional Victoria. Based in South Melbourne, you will work with supervisors, subcontractors, designers and the client to maintain safety, schedule and spec compliance.

You will set out, check and record construction activities, resolve field technical issues and ensure quality control. This role offers state-wide site work with opportunities for career growth within ACCIONA's infrastructure programs.

Qualifications

• Tertiary education in civil engineering, construction or similar.
• Experience supporting construction works on civil or rail sites.
• Knowledge of site safety, quality and environmental controls.
• Ability to read drawings and check works against them.
• Clear communication with crews, subcontractors and client teams.

Responsibilities

• Set out and check construction works against approved designs.
• Coordinate daily site activities with supervisors and subcontractors.
• Check quality and complete inspection and hold point records.
• Resolve technical queries and constructability issues in the field.
• Monitor safety and environmental requirements on site.
• Record progress, quantities and changes accurately for the project team.

Acciona are currently looking for Site Engineers with Infrastructure experience for Metro and Regional projects.

ACCIONA delivers complex civil, transport and water infrastructure across metropolitan and regional Victoria. Our teams work on large multi discipline programs involving rail, roads, structures and water assets. These projects improve connectivity, resilience and liveability for communities across the state. We partner with clients and industry to apply technical expertise and sustainable construction practices.

About the Opportunity
As a Site Engineer, you will turn designs into built work on ACCIONA projects across metro and regional Victoria. You will work with supervisors, subcontractors, designers and the client to keep construction safe, on program and to specification. You will check quality, resolve technical issues in the field and keep records accurate. You will see major infrastructure take shape from the ground up and build the technical skills to grow your career. Your base is South Melbourne, with site work across the state.
