Job summary

NRW Civil & Mining is seeking a Site Engineer to assist planning, coordination and delivery of engineering activities across Perth Metro Infrastructure projects. You will prepare schedules, short-term plans and resource forecasts while monitoring progress and site performance.

With a civil/infrastructure background, you will coordinate subcontractors, ensure works meet drawings, specs and quality requirements and support QA documentation, inspections and project records.

Qualifications

• Minimum: tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience as a Site Engineer within civil/infrastructure.
• Experience in road, pavement or general civil infrastructure projects.
• Main Roads WA project experience desirable.
• Strong understanding of construction quality, safety and engineering processes.
• Highly effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with Microsoft Project, Primavera P6 or similar project planning software desirable.
• Current Australian Driver's Licence.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a high-performing project team.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the planning, coordination and delivery of engineering activities across the project.
• Preparing schedules, short-term plans and resource forecasts.
• Monitoring project progress, productivity and site performance.
• Coordinating subcontractors and assisting with the management of work packages.
• Ensuring works are completed in accordance with project drawings, specifications and quality requirements.
• Supporting QA documentation, inspections, ITPs and project records.
• Assisting with procurement, planning and engineering documentation.
• Monitoring compliance with safety, quality and environmental standards.
• Liaising with clients, consultants and the project team to support successful project outcomes.
• Providing technical support to Project Engineers and site teams as required.
