Minecon Recruitment Pty is seeking a Site Engineer for a six-month contract on a civil project in Cairns, Australia. You will support the site team across engineering, quality and delivery activities.

Ideal candidates hold a Civil Engineering degree and have site experience on roads projects, with familiarity of TMR specifications and quality requirements. This role offers an attractive day rate and superannuation, with a view to extend based on project needs.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or a relevant discipline.
• Previous Site Engineer experience on civil roads projects.
• Experience with TMR specifications and quality requirements.
• Strong organisation, communication and attention to detail.
• A practical approach and confidence working with site teams.

Responsabilités

• Support daily site activities and construction planning.
• Track progress against the construction programme.
• Manage quality documentation, ITPs, inspections and lot records.
• Work to project specifications and TMR requirements.
• Coordinate with supervisors, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Review drawings, raise RFIs and resolve technical queries.
• Assist with quantities, reporting and project records.
• Support safe and efficient delivery of the work.

The Role

Working closely with the project and site teams, your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting daily site activities and construction planning
• Tracking progress against the construction programme
• Managing quality documentation, ITPs, inspections and lot records
• Working to project specifications and TMR requirements
• Coordinating with supervisors, subcontractors and suppliers
• Reviewing drawings, raising RFIs and resolving technical queries
• Assisting with quantities, reporting and project records
• Supporting safe and efficient delivery of the work

About You

• Degree in Civil Engineering or a relevant discipline

• Experience with TMR specifications and quality requirements
