Job summary

Calibre Resourcing Solutions seeks a Site / Project Engineer for North Queensland to work on residential, on-site projects in Cairns, Townsville, or between. This role is not FIFO and involves travel to project locations as required.

The candidate should have TMR road project experience, a Bachelor of Civil Engineering, 3+ years civil construction experience, a White Card, and a C Class Driver Licence, with strong delivery and project controls capabilities.

Qualifications

• TMR road project experience mandatory.
• Bachelor of Civil Engineering degree required.
• Minimum 3+ years post graduate experience in civil construction.
• Current White Card is required for site access.
• Current C Class Driver Licence is required.
• Strong practical understanding of construction delivery and project controls.
• Experience across different aspects of a project, not limited to one function.
• Willingness to pitch in and help the team to deliver the project.

Responsibilities

• Deliver civil construction projects on-site in North Queensland.
• Collaborate with the project team to manage delivery, schedules and controls.
• Travel to project locations as required to support project delivery.

SITE / PROJECT ENGINEER – NORTH QUEENSLAND

Calibre Resourcing Solutions is searching for an experienced Civil Site / Project Engineer looking to build their career in North Queensland. This is a permanent opportunity suited to someone who genuinely enjoys being on the ground delivering projects, not someone looking to move away from construction into a purely design focused role.

Location: Cairns, Townsville or anywhere in between

Residential role – NO FIFO

Typical Monday to Friday working week

Travel to project locations will be required depending on works

What we are looking for:

• TMR road project experience is mandatory. Equivalent interstate road authority project experience may also be considered (NSW RMS, VicRoads, WA)
• Bachelor of Civil Engineering
• Minimum 3+ years post graduate experience in civil construction
• Current White Card
• Current C Class Driver Licence
• Strong practical understanding of construction delivery and project controls
• Experience working across different aspects of a project rather than being limited to one function
• Willingness to get in, help the team and do what needs to be done to deliver the project

Highly regarded:

• 5+ years TMR project experience
• Experience as a named project resource under TMR contracts
• QLD TMD qualification
• RPEQ provided your career has remained focused on construction rather than design
