Job summary

CPB Contractors is seeking experienced Site Engineers for a major infrastructure project in regional Queensland. You will monitor the project plan, ensure upfront quality requirements, resolve engineering issues and drive a zero-harm safety culture on site.

Roles operate on a 15:6 roster and involve coordinating with subcontractors, consultants and suppliers to deliver works safely and to program. A tertiary degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline is required.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction or a related discipline.
• 3 years experience in a Site Engineer or similar engineering role within a construction or major infrastructure environment.
• Strong understanding of engineering, construction, quality and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of allocated work packages, coordinating day-to-day engineering and construction activities on site.
• Work closely with supervisors, subcontractors, consultants and suppliers to ensure works are delivered safely, to program and in accordance with project requirements.
• Prepare and maintain ITPs, RFIs, technical documentation, inspection records and quality documentation.
• Assist with reviewing designs, resolving technical queries and coordinating design changes and approvals.
• Monitor site progress, quantities and costs, providing updates to the Senior Project Engineer and Project Manager.

The Project

CPB is working on a major infrastructure project in regional Queensland,involving the construction and delivery of a large scale, highly technical facility. We are currently seeking experienced Site Engineers to join our project delivery team, working on a complex, fast paced construction environment.

As a Site Engineer, you will monitor the project plan, ensure upfront quality requirements are in place, resolve engineering issues, assist with the administration of subcontractors, complete and record quality inspections, ensure technical matters with the project are compliant and drive a zero-harm safety culture on site.

We are seeking engineers who are comfortable working in project environments, with roles predominantly operating on a 15:6 roster and aligned to key project delivery schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of allocated work packages, coordinating day-to-day engineering and construction activities on site


• Work closely with supervisors, subcontractors, consultants and suppliers to ensure works are delivered safely, to program and in accordance with project requirements
