Job summary

HammondCare in Sydney seeks a Workplace Project Manager to deliver workplace, construction and fit-out projects for a large NSW Government organisation. You’ll manage from planning through delivery, coordinating contractors and stakeholders to achieve scope, budget, schedule, safety and quality.

This site-based role requires three to four days on project sites and one to two days in the Parramatta office. Salary is $650–$750 per day plus super, with an initial six-month contract and projects

Qualifications

• Demonstrated 5+ years delivering construction and fit-out projects.
• Qualifications in construction management, property, building, project management, engineering or architecture.
• Experience managing budgets, schedules, procurement, contracts and priorities.
• Knowledge of NEC4 contract management and administration.
• Experience using Microsoft Project or Primavera.
• Familiar with risk, safety, site access, drawing, maintenance and asset management systems.
• SAP project management, procurement and contract systems experience is valued.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Construction induction White Card.
• Experience delivering government projects with verifiable referees.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets and cost forecasts.
• Manage construction and workplace fit-out delivery across multiple sites.
• Coordinate procurement, contractor engagement and contract administration.
• Monitor expenditure, risks, issues and scope changes.
• Coordinate site access and safety requirements.
• Prepare project reports and documentation, escalate issues requiring decisions.
• Build productive relationships with operational teams, suppliers and stakeholders.
