Job summary

Multicultural Consulting Services (MCS) is seeking Site and Project Engineers for civil and structural infrastructure projects in Leongatha, VIC. Roles support senior engineering leadership with work packages, quality control and delivery oversight.

Applicants should have a civil/structural engineering degree, Engineers Australia eligibility, and 2+ years (site) or 5+ years (project) construction experience, plus a White Card and Australian driver licence.

Qualifications

• A bachelor degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, or a relevant discipline, with eligibility for Engineers Australia membership.
• At least two years of major construction or infrastructure experience for site engineer appointments; at least five years for project engineer appointments.
• Knowledge of site execution, digital QA/QC systems, ITPs and Australian Standards.
• Ability to manage subcontractors, project controls and technical interfaces.
• Effective planning, problem solving, communication and commercial awareness.
• A current Australian driver licence and Construction White Card.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate site activities, subcontractors and assigned packages.
• Manage inspection plans, lot close-outs, RFIs, NCRs and test records.
• Monitor work programmes, progress and construction methods.
• Interpret permanent and temporary works designs and resolve field issues.
• Assist procurement, claims, variations, cost tracking and progress valuations.
• Review risk assessments and safe work methods and support environmental compliance.
