Job summary

Sedgman is seeking an administrative professional to support the Byerwen site in Queensland. You’ll play a key role in onboarding, documentation, travel coordination and day-to-day site operations, ensuring smooth processes and effective communication across teams.

The role requires strong organisation, multitasking, and teamwork, with proficiency in office software and a current driver’s license. This is a hands-on position supporting safety and compliance on site.

Qualifications

  • Proven admin experience, preferably in mining or related industry.
  • Ability to complete and pass a pre-employment medical examination.
  • Strong organisational, communication and multitasking skills.
  • Team player with ability to collaborate with various stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in office software and data management.
  • Current and valid driver's license, and access to a car.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate smooth onboarding processes for new hires and contractors at the site.
  • Maintain and organise site documentation and records.
  • Schedule uniform orders and coordinate travel and accommodation.
  • Assist in personnel management and site logistics.
  • Coordinate administrative tasks to support daily site operations.
  • Collaborate with various teams to ensure efficient site processes.
  • Manage and track site expenses and budgets.
  • Assist in the procurement of necessary supplies and equipment.
  • Monitor and report on-site safety and compliance with regulations.
  • Handle communications and information flow within the site.
  • Prepare and submit reports to management as required.

Discover Byerwen, situated 20 kilometres west of Glenden in Queensland's Bowen Basin.

With support from the CHPP Manager and the broader team, you'll contribute to the success and smooth operation of our established site.
