OSMAC Apprenticeships invites applicants for a first-year Signwriting Apprentice in Cairns. You will complete a Certificate III in Signs and Graphics while earning full-time wages, working with an award-winning signage business.

No prior industry experience required; a strong work ethic and teamwork are essential. We value practical, hands-on learners who can follow instructions, use tools safely, and contribute to projects across the Cairns region.

Qualifications

• Australian working rights required.
• Current manual driver's licence desired.
• Interest in signs, graphics, printing, painting or design.
• Willingness to learn and operate printers and manufacturing equipment.
• Able to follow measurements and produce high-quality work.

Responsibilities

• Learn to design, print, manufacture, install and maintain signage.
• Operate printers, cutting equipment and sign-making machinery.
• Use graphic-design software to assist with signage projects.
• Maintain safety standards and work as part of a team.
• Contribute to a range of signage from vehicle graphics to shopfront signs.
